The Norns

Image
How can one work with the Norns? If you were to ask me, my answer would unfold like this: Are not the three Norns, revered in ancient mythology, the beings who weave the destiny of gods and mortals alike? Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld—guardians of fate—craft the tapestry of existence: that which has been, that which is now, and that which is yet to come. In the grand design of the universe, everything is intertwined. If all is connected, then you too are connected to all. In my cosmology, a modern-day shaman communes with the energies within, tapping into the profound wisdom of their ancestors. Invite Urd to meld with your spirit and reshape your past. Embrace Verdandi, becoming one with the present moment. Or, channel the power of Skuld, weaving the threads of a future world through the transformation of your inner self. Though this inner journey is fraught with challenges, you need not walk it alone. Seek a shaman to guide you, to help you do the sacred work that only you can do. ...

Instead of saying...

instead of saying, "i know what it feels like", let's say "i cannot imagine your heartbreak". instead of saying, "you're strong, you'll get through this, let's say " you'll hurt, and I'll be here. instead of saying, "you look like you're doing well, let's say, "how are you holding up today?" instead of saying, "healing takes time", let's say "healing has no timeline". instead of saying, "everything happens for a reason, let's say "this must feel so terribly senseless right now". and when there are no words to say at all, you don't need to try and find some. love speaks in silences too. ~ 'words' by Ullie Kaye Poetry  ~ Art by Jennifer Yoswa

I have, & made, so many different versions of “mala’s”, I’ve lost count. I had even picked up the rosary when I found the book The Way of the Rose. Monday May 5 24, I grabbed my rosary while heading out to my lunch walk, a playlist on my go to music app for praying the rosary, and set off & prayed it, not knowing why. Remember, no...
